...is out, and already spawning debate on whether users would be better off with mozilla 1.1, which is based on a more recent version of the same code.

I say: If you have no techie skills whatsoever, you'll do better with N7, but if you're prepared to tweak things behind the scenes, manually thwack plugin DLLs until they work and put up with a slight reduction in stability, you may prefer Moz, especially if you hate popup ads.
