Sad Computer Game Geekery, part 1
I've stopped playing Team Fortress Classic.
I first played it over four years ago. I enjoyed the game style, which was much more cerebral than Quake/Quake II. However, in recent months, the number of players populating the servers has been dropping. They're all playing the same 2/3 maps. They're all either very good indeed or completely clueless, with no-one in between. As a result, it stopped being fun, so I stopped playing - I think I've only played about an hour or two in the last 2-3 months. It's now looking unlikely that I'll play it again.
It's a shame, and I note it here because I think I've spent more hours playing TFC than any other game, ever.
