Looks like our existing buried-in-advertising-with-crappy-interfaces map sites have got a fight on their hands.
All is not rosy, though. Some of the include/exclude decisions on the large-area maps are a bit oddball, and I suspect that many Scots would prefer the front page to be zoomed out/scrolled north a little by default.
Go off the beaten track a little, and the intermediate detail's not great, either (compare, for instance, these two views of a town where I lived for a year as a kid: google vs. multimap. Still, things will hopefully improve with time.
