In between the sideswipes at his employers (Netscape) Blake Ross made some depressingly accurate comments about web journalism's coverage of the Netscape 7 release. A lot of this also applies to their coverage of non-IE browsers in general.
I've already written about why a browser monoculture is such a bad idea (and that's even without going to security, virii, etc.) As such, I find it profoundly depressing that most of the world seems to have either thrown in the towel, or is actively assisting the growth of that monoculture.
