I think I want the poster...
The "Fuller Projection" map of the world.
As in R. Buckminster Fuller, who called it the "Dymaxion map"
Minimal distortion, no cuts in the continents. If you're feeling really ambitious, it folds into an Icosahedron (or a D20, for the gamers out there).
