A very wet afternoon
Having spent most of the last month being a complete lazy slob, I was determined to be Domestically Useful this weekend.
So, while Cal was partaking of the Farmers' Market, I spent the morning doing laundry and attempting to tidy the house a bit. This afternoon, I was relaxing while the washing machine did some more laundry, when Cal collected our e-mail, and discovered mails from our friends making arrangements to go to the Manchester anti-war march. Which we had completely forgotten.
Checked watch (15:00) checked e-mails (meet at 13:00-ish)
Arse.
So off we went, to make up the numbers at the post march rally, at least.
We arrived just in time to be harangued by a man trying to convince us that Marks and Spencer is the Root Of All Eviltm
This being Manchester, it was raining, of course, so we greeted a rather bedraggled-looking SMS and Arthur, remained until members of our group were in danger of hypothermia, then retired to Fab Cafe.
Curses be upon my useless memory.
