Some follow-up...
Many of you will have seen reports based on Vanity Fair's interview with the US Deputy Secretary of Defence, Paul Wolfowitz (not least because I mentioned it a couple of days ago).
Large parts of the US right-wing blogosphere are currently going ballistic, accusing Vanity Fair of misrepresenting his comments. Thing is, in this instance, they have some grounds.
You can find a full transcript of the interview over here. The relevant passage is way down the bottom. Use your browser's "find" function to search for "last question", and read from there.
His words are nowhere near as inflammatory as it's been reported, but I guess the story would sell fewer magazines otherwise...
[note: no, I haven't been body-snatched, I still think the war was a Bad Idea. I could probably rant quite happily about what Wolfowitz DID say, but for now I just want to set the record straight - which is why I'm linking the transcript directly rather than quoting it at length]
[linkage: InstaPundit and Pejmanesque. Warning: if your blood pressure rockets when you see the phrase "Liberal Media", approach with caution]
