And the highways agency. Everyone yesterday was telling the media they were ready for our little cold snap.

Can I just say: bwahahahahaha! [sob]

The trams have shut down, traffic is stationary as far as the eye can see. Even the main roads don't appear to have been salted. People, there was 5 days warning this was coming.

Bloody useless.

So I'm stuck at home by a measly 2 inches of snow. Still, work has been civilised and let me take it as a holiday, so I don't need to feel guilty, or fight my way through snow.

We are still cold, damp, but without a coverung of white.

Oh yes indeedy. It started about 8pm last night, and has been snowing on and off (mostly off) ever since.
