blufiveConvivial was fun. One of the smallest conventions I've ever attended, it was notable for the fact that most of the membership (including yours truly) appeared to spend most of the convention attending programme items (!)
Dirigibles were raced (and I would have won, if it weren't for those pesky kids!) steam boats built, empires tested, and, By Jove, I was almost the Solution! (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Even the great British railway network managed to co-operate, getting us all the way to and from Glasgow with only a couple of minor incidents.
