Note that the final marquee line is a little wider than all the others, just for that final touch. I suppose I should be grateful that it was in restrained colours, and didn't involve the Greater Tag That Shall Not Be Named as well as the Lesser species.

Interestingly, with my standard setup (Firefox, with AdSubtract blocking animations as well as ads) it just shows up as a few lines of text. I had to look at it in IE to see the full horror (which isn't as bad as one guy's at my work).

Well certainly colour, though relatively muted; but if I recall correctly, his doesn't stop scrolling, which your example did when I viewsd it in IE, at least.

Of course I may not be getting the full effect.
