I'm pleased to see a major US media outlet like the Washington Post printing a summary of what's going on in Venezuela and highlighting the US Government's shameful record of supporting the anti-democratic opposition. So who still reckons the Bush administration isn't motivated by oil?

You've probably already read this, but in case you missed it I recommend Nick Cohen's (http://www.observer.co.uk/comment/story/0,6903,680100,00.html) analysis based on the Pentagon's Defense Planning Guidance document leaked to the New York Times in 1992.
