So, I asked my Windows XP machine to reboot. After a couple of minutes, I got the idea that it wasn't going to happen. So I asked again. And waited again.

I know Microsoft is trying to improve Windows' reputation for stability, but this is ridiculous...

[yes, yes, I know, it's probably a rogue service or summat - I've got a few suspects, and once I killed a few of them in task manager, it rebooted when I asked]
