Preposterous Kung Fu.
Preposterous Stunts of numerous kinds.
Preposterous plot twists.
Preposterous number of costume changes.
Utterly, utterly preposterous bit with a helicopter
(<geek class="planespotter">Kamov Ka-52, I think. They even manage a cool-looking helicopter</geek>)

I loved it.

Everyone seems to be saying that it rocks - not very much presence in the blogosphere, though. Certainly it sounds a million times better than The Frickin Hulk.

I think the simplest way to tell is to look at how you regarded the first one - if you liked that, you'll probably like this.

If you haven't: don't expect Shakespear, and go in with a sense of humour.

Hulk isn't out here yet. I suspect I'll wait and see what all my comic-nut friends think...

I haven't seen the first one, to be honest, but from what people are saying that I'd probably like that too.

Not seen the Hulk either, but the general opinion seems to be "mediocre", "CGI not as good as it thinks it is".

The only thing I've seen recently is 28 Days Later, which I liked.

I've heard good things about Angels, too, and horrendous things about Hulk.

(Sounds as if the producers of the latter may have forgotten to remember that it wasn't Shakespeare!)

I've seen interviews with Ang Lee and he seems to have been really trying to make it into a work of real drama and meaning. I guess he didn't quite appreciate how hard it is to turn someone else's mythos around.
